Harcourts Hilton Art in Country

This annual event brings together A variety of artists. The Art students had an opportunity to view the art and talk to the artists . The students found inspiration from artists like Jane Digby, a contemporary artist, who was happy to answer questions and explain her art making process. Bead Artist Sinalithemba drew the learner’s attention with his unique bead art works.

Art is a tool; it can inspire and bring together people from all walks of life.

The Drakondale Art students had an amazing experience and one of our selfie photos won the selfie competition. Drakondale school of the Arts received a gift voucher from Art Board which has been used to stock up on our art supplies.

We are looking forward to next year’s Harcourts Hilton Art in the Country exhibition.
